2013年12月31日

中国人特别喜欢给数字赋予特别的含义，比如1314被诠释为“一生一世”。其实，对大多数人来说，即将过去的2013年和即将到来的2014年并没有多么特殊，于我，倒真是意义非凡。从中国迁徙到加拿大安顿下来，与自己之前的岁月挥别，开始了人生的全新旅程。


三月，从绿芽初吐的江南来到冰雪未销的多伦多，前路如何，胸中并无成竹。我的朋友们在来之前，大多都已定下详细的计划，比如已经联系好要深造的学校和课程，或是已经初步联系好了工作，有的已经为孩子确定了学校，总之是很靠谱。像我们一家这样“说走就走”，两眼一抹黑就杀将过来的不靠谱类型，怕是不多。

回顾这一年，最想感谢的是朋友。在多伦多，不多的几位旧相识，在初来乍到的日子里给了我们一家三口细致入微的关心和帮助，让我们深深感受到了“出门靠朋友”的温暖。生活中充满惊喜，居然在这里重逢大学毕业多年一直没有再见过的同窗，10年以上未曾谋面的老朋友，曾一起赴西藏做志愿者的朋友。认识了各类新朋友：大学校友，留英校友，移友，在求职培训班里还巧遇和我乘同一班飞机从上海飞来多伦多的美女。还有我那些热心的朋友，身处在上海北京浙江广州香港美国英国，居然都帮我找到了他们在多伦多的亲友，让我的社交大饼急剧摊大，从初到时朋友数目不足一只手，到现在都凑出好几双手了。

这一年开心的事情也很多。虽然这段新旅程开始的时候有些兵荒马乱，但半年之后，一切都渐渐岁月静好起来：住处安顿了，工作稳定了，语言进步了，一家大小都开始习惯这里相对的慢节奏。找工作的那半年，尽管焦虑不时来袭，却也是离开校园这么多年来第一次悠长假期。我们一家的生活缤纷多彩得自己都不好意思了，和国内来的朋友一起自驾游去大瀑布花瓶岛渥太华蒙特利尔，在各类博物馆美术馆科技馆中流连，体验市中心层出不穷的主题嘉年华，春天去公园观樱花，夏天和朋友住在湖边度假小屋钓鱼，去野营泛舟湖上，秋天去看三文鱼洄游赏红叶纷飞，冬天去赶圣诞集市狂拍雪景。生活可以很美好，只要你有一颗愿意折腾的心。

这一年，最励志的一句话是：“就大多数人的努力程度而言，根本轮不上拼天赋。”职场翻滚多年以后，我们迟钝了懒散了，变成了自己曾经不喜欢的“差不多先生”和“差不多女士”。而环境突然的剧变，把我这只江南温水里的青蛙，赶到了凛冽的高纬度的冬天。我选择不冬眠，而是比原来的自己更努力一点。所以，在工作之余，我上夜校进修，参加演讲俱乐部提高英文，甚至赶时髦试运营了一个微信公众账号“置业加国”，当然，还有这个每周一篇的专栏。

相信自己，在这一段几乎重新编程的人生新脚本中，我也能继续闯关，也许得分比以前更高！也祝每一个你，在新的一年中，遇见更好的自己！
